I was very surprised when I first heard this news.
The Japanese government had to release the Trawler captain without talking with China.
It is a big miss of the Japanese government.
I watched the movie of this accident and thought Chinese ship was wronger than Japanese ship.
Maybe Japanese government feared Chinese government pressure.
I think Japanese government should be more imposing than now.
Otherwise people will not follow.

I was very surprised when I saw this news on the TV at first. I saw many television programs about this problem. I think Japan is not blame and I disagreeable to China's stance. China said China isn't to blame for this problem. It's unbeliveable story.
A deep gulf has formed between the two countries. It's not easy thing to reconcile make peace between the two countries.

Relation of Japan and China
Hi! I'm Ryo.
I think the relation of Japan and China will be worse if the issue of "Senkaku" island will be resolved.
And I think leaking videos of accidents to YouTube make relation of it even worse, so solving this issue should be placed first to do.
I also think why China don't acknowlege what that Chinese did.
It makes China look down on as "Lier".
